Her Story
Ebony N. Tyler was raised in the small historic town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She has a BS from Christopher Newport University and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Ebony is a director at the education and technology company, 2U and a licensed social worker and therapist in Maryland.
His Story
Evan Middleton was born in California, spent his early childhood in Texas before a final move to Northern Virginia. He attended the University of Tennessee and graduated with his BA in music performance. Today, Evan is a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and a professional photographer.
Our Story
In 2016, Evan and Ebony had their first date- breakfast for dinner in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. For the past five years, they have been on many adventures from dancing to jazz in New Orleans to hiking the mountains of Portland. In 2019, they became engaged at the Aquarium at the Bay in San Francisco, California.
